Whatever is bringing you to YOGA has the potential to be both an internal and external experience. I am honoured to support you in finding the nourishment and stillness you may be needing as well as a few giggles along the way.
Hatha yoga refers to the practice of physical yoga postures. The word “hatha” can be translated two ways: as “willful” or “forceful,” or the yoga of activity, and as “sun” (ha) and “moon” (tha), the yoga of balance. Hatha practices are designed to align and calm your body, mind, and spirit in preparation for meditation.
Restorative yoga is a practice that is all about slowing down and opening your body through passive stretching. Our sessions will have longer holds, props are used to support the body allowing the nervous system to rest and reset. Restorative classes are a great complement to our active sports and busy schedules.
